II Properties and uses

Colourless, transparent oily liquid, b.p.280°C, freezing point -65~-80°C, viscosity 8 c.p.(20°C), refractive index 1.444(25°C).

Used as an interior plasticizer, may be copolymerized with monomers like vinyl chloride, vinyl acetate, styrene, etc. These copolymers are usually used in preparing coatings, films, adhesives, rubbers and fixing agent for pigments. When it used for the PVC ware, it can make ware soft, lucency, high transparence.

Due to its strong solublizing property, it may effectively plasticize polyacrylonitrile, polymethyl acrylates, which are difficult to be plasticized by other plasticizers.

IV Package and storage, safety

Packed in 200 liter iron drum, net weight 200 kg/drum.

Kept at a dry, ventilated place. Prevented from collision and rain-attack during handling and shipping.

Met the high hot and clear fire or contact the oxidizing agent, caused the burning danger.

If skin get in touch with, taking off the contaminated clothes, washed off with plenty of water and soap water thoroughly. If the eye get in touch with, rinsed out with plenty of water with the eyelid held wide open immediately for fifteen minutes. Get medical aid.
