Melamine cyanurate is a colorless, odorless, non-toxic white crystalline powder. its density is 1.35~1.85 g/cm3 and its molar mass is 255.2 g/mol. It is nearly insoluble in water, however, it is soluble in ethanol, methanol and other organic solvents. It has subacidity and it can scatter in oil mediums. It is very stable under 300 degrees Celsius, however, above 350 degrees Celsius, it undergoes endothermic decomposition to melamine and cyanuric acid, acting as a heat sink in the process. It shows excellent flame retardant properties. Our company has a special surface modification technology to improve the dispersion of melamine cyanurate in practical applications. we have solved the common problems like it is hard to disperse, white or black points will appear when it is used and so on. Our product can be used as flame retardant in wire and cable, heat shrinkable materials, building materials, fabric coating etc.

Applications:
EVA heat shrinking tubes, thermoplastic eslastomer, and low smoke FR compounding for cables, it has good distribution and processing properties.
