Sunvin 51
Sunvin 51 is a liquid benzotriazole type UV absorber, which imparts excellent light stability to the various polymers.
Sunvin 51 can be used for PS type polymers, elastomers, adhesives, rigid and plasticized PVC, thermoplastic PUR, PVB, EVA, PA, TPE, hot cured unsaturated polyesters.
Sunvin 51 can be applied for combination with other additives, such as phenolic antioxidant ( Sunox 1135 etc.), HALS UV absorber (Horsorb 292 etc.).
Advantages:
- Highly soluble in many solvents, monomers, or intermediates;
- Easily emulsifiable in water-based adhesives;
- High compatibility in various substrates;
- Low volatility even at high temperatures, and high absorption and protection efficiency.
Usage:
- PUR: 0.2-0.5 wt%;
- PVC: 0.3-0.5 wt%; up to 5.0% for co-extruded PVC;
- Adhesives: 0.5-1.0 wt%;
