SKC-Z9988 as a derivative of Dibenzylidene sorbitol, is a highly efficient nucleation transparent agent. It can improve transparency and the molding time of polyolefin products and be impact resistant. It is a new-generation polyolefin nucleation transparent agent that can be applicable to processing and modification of polypropylene and polyethylene products with high transparency requirements. It has a wide processing range, high transparency, is odorless, has no deposits and displays high thermal stability. It is used in high-class transparency products including food containers such as high-class tableware, microwave oven ware, medical goods, stationery, cosmetic etc. It can also be used in high-temperature disinfecting products.
It is produced as transparent granules which are then mixed with common polyolefins to create transparent products. It is mainly used in PP homopolymer, random copolymer and PE material. Adding 0.15-0.3% of this product into corresponding material can achieve ideal transparency.
