Because of its dispersion characteristics, it is typically incorporated into a compound via masterbatch. To achieve optimal performance levels with this product, incorporation into a masterbatch requires relatively sophisticated, high shear processing conditions. BLACK PEARLS 900 specialty carbon black is a pelletized product. A non-pelletized carbon black having similar morphology is available in an easier-to-disperse fluffy form as MONARCH 900 specialty carbon black, which can also be used in coatings and artificial leather applications.
