NOF® M-B96R
- M-B96R is a highly purified solid fatty acid ester lubricant.
- M-B96R is capable of adding release properties to plastic (for example polycarbonate) molded products.
- M-B96R is capable of improving scratch resistance to molded resin product surfaces.
Scratch resistance improvement
- M-B96R is a highly crystalline lubricant so that it can make a protect layer on the resin surface after bleeding on kneading or molding step. And then, the layer improves scratch resistance of the resin surface.
Low volatility
- M-B96R shows lower volatility than conventional similar products by removal of volatiles in refining process.
- M-B96R low volatility can suppress the fogging at molding process or using process on high temperature condition.
Recommended usage
- Since M-B96R shows excellent heat resistance and low volatility derived therefrom, M-B96R is capable of being applied to various engineering plastics represented by polycarbonate.
- The recommended addition amount of M-B96R is <2 wt % against plastics. The above effects can be obtained with maintaining transparency of products by adjusting additive.
