Atmer 7301 is a concentrate containing an anti-fogging agent which provides long-lasting properties suitable for agricultural film.

Mode of action
Atmer 7301 is a combination of additives dispersed in an adsorbent polymer. Using a concentrate allows for better dispersion and overcomes complications encountered when using additives in their normal physical forms. Concentrates are added to the process like other resins, allowing for the additives to migrate to the surface of the polymer where they help lower the surface tension and subsequently reduce water droplets allowed to condense on the plastic. The water droplets are then able to spread into a continuous, uniform layer on the fabricated film.

Guidelines for use
Atmer 7301 can be incorporated into resin as supplied or via masterbatch / pre-blend. Experience has shown that simple manual mixing prior to processing will normally give an acceptable dispersion though, mechanical means are preferred.
Typical addition levels are 1 - 8%
