TCP-70 is the most efficient plasticizer to the liquid tri aryl phosphate type. It is colour less to pale yellow liquid insoluble in water & soluble in benzene, toluene etc.

It is low volatile, having good resistance to saponification and oil extraction hence used as a lubricant in adhesives for extreme pressure and fire risk from heat source and electrical sparks.

TCP-70 is mainly used as flame retardant plasticizer in many plastics & reins for the application of manufacturing electrical & automobile parts.

TCP-70 is used in flame retardant formulations or as an additive in cellulose, polyester and polyurethane.

TCP-70 is used in styrenic thermoplastics as an alternative to halogenated flame retardant.
