Characteristics:
KALSTAB 50-10 substitutes the additive group that is usually used in rigid PVC compounds. This involves fewer problems of stock and lower risk in weight. It also solves problems related to health and environmental pollution caused by powder lead products. KALSTAB 50-10 is highly recommended in extruding pipes with double screw machines. It has a balanced lubrication system and excellent thermal stability. An outstanding internal and external finishing and a minimum variation of wall thickness can be obtained. The recommended use proportion is between 2 and 2.3 phr in compounds with a maximum filler up to 10 phr. It should be added to the hot compound in a fast mixer. Common precautions in relation to lead- containg products should be taken when handling KALSTAB 50-10. It should be stored in a dry place at room temperature. Once opened, the bag should be kept hermetically closed.
