Finawax-VL is used primarily as a Slip agent in films mfg. It is particularly suitable in polymers like PVC, polyamide, polycarbonate and polypropylene Finawax-VL is an excellent flow improver
in polystyrene and hence suggested for re-cycling of polystyrene resins with various melt flow characteristics. Finawax-VL helps to raise the melt flow index providing rapid homogenization of the resins thus reducing mixing time and speeding up the process.
Composite blends of PE with EVA Co-polymer show improved sealing strength on addition of Finawax-VL at 1 pph. Suggested as anti-tacking agent for EVA.
