II Properties and uses
- Colourless, transparent oily liquid, b.p.138°C(5mmHg), freezing point -21~-12.5°C, viscosity 9.5 c.p.(25°C), refractive index 1.444(25°C).
- Insoluble in majority organic solvent, soluble with most synthetic and natural resin mutually, but insoluble with water soluble resin .
- Used as an interior plasticizer, may be copolymerized with monomers like vinyl chloride, vinyl acetate, styrene, acrylate etc. These copolymers are usually used in preparing coating, adhesive, surface conditioning agent, etc.

IV Package and storage, safety
- Packed in 200 liter iron drum, net weight 200 kg/drum.
- Kept at a dry, ventilated place. Prevented from collision and rain-attack during handling and shipping.
- Met the high hot and clear fire or contact the oxidizing agent, caused the burning danger.
- If skin get in touch with, taking off the contaminated clothes, washed off with plenty of water and soap water thoroughly. If the eyes get in touch with, rinse out with plenty of water with the eyelid held wide open immediately for fifteen minutes. Get medical aid.
