Polioles Dietilenglicol
El Diethyleneglycol is a transparent Liquid, colorless, practically odorless, hygroscopic and non-volatile, soluble in water and in a large amount of organic solvent, with similar properties to Monoethyleneglycol and glicerine. However, its high degree of hygroscopicity and its marked differences with Monoethyleneglycol Diethyleneglycol is preferred in many applications
APPLICATIONS
- It is mainly used in producing polyester resin in the production of Liquid plasticizer brake and cellophane. Paper and cork. Diethyleneglycol is used as the wetting snuff thereby providing a softer and allowing slower combustion. Is also used as brightener in printing inks, as well as vehicle for pigments and dyes, coalescing agent in paints, natural gas drying, solvent agrochemical, etc.
