Composition:
VIBATAN PE ANTISTATIC 02503 is a composition of a fatty acid antistatic agent and synthetic silica, dispersed in polyethylene, free from waxes or any other lubricants.

Application:
Plastic articles during their processing are subject to accumulations of electric charges on some parts of their surface. These zones catch dust, thus looking unpleasantly stained.
Since good presentation of a product greatly depends on its appearance, VIBA recommends the use of VIBATAN PE ANTISTATIC 02503, which removes the electric charges on its surface and avoids dust stains.
VIBATAN PE ANTISTATIC 02503 has been developed for the processing of polyolefines, in particular for the filming application where the migration of the additive must be kept under control.
The contained synthetic silica gives the film an excellent releasing effect, thus reducing the adherence between the surfaces during extrusion and rolling of the film.
VIBATAN PE ANTISTATIC 02503 is suitable for production of packaging supposed to come into contact with foodstuff (for further information, please ask for Position under Food Regulation).
