Therefore, PLA become a popular eco-friendly & green plastic, with non-toxic, non-irritation effects and remarkable biocompatibility, that's why PLA can be decomposed, absorbed and as fertilizer after discarded in soil or humid environment. Besides, CO2 emission of PLA is only half compare to normal plastic, PLA is conductive to reduce the dependence of petroleum and CO2 emission. However, even PLA is eco-friendly and with several advantages, it still owns some weak points like worse heat-resistance, low impact resistance and flame retard properties.
