Property: Colorless or pale yellow oily liquid under room temperature. Melting point 18°C, refractive index (n25 D) 1.441, density (25°C) 0.85, boiling point (25mm Hg) 220°C, non-toxic, viscosity (25°C) 7 cp.

Application: It is used as internal lubricant in the plastics processing. It can decrease friction heat, quicken the processing speed and increase the surface smoothness of the products as well as decrease the times of cleaning of mould and screw. The normal dosage is 1-3 phr. It is also a plasticizer and demoulding agent for natural and synthetic rubber and latex. It is non-toxic and suitable for food grade PVC transparent sheet, plate, shaped materials, film and heat-shrink film.
