avan STATIC-TPU MB is a powerful antistatic agent, presented as a Masterbatch, ready to be used. Based on the use of functionalized SiO 2 and nano-particles, the product is specially designed to generate not only antistatic systems but also ESD in TPU, and it can be used in colored formulations. On the one hand, while other similar products enable 10-30 Mohm resistance on treated materials (range of antistatic systems), avan STATIC-TPU MB go beyond that range, reaching ESD systems resistance (0.1-35 Mohm), or even lower resistance levels easily. On the other hand, avan STATIC-TPU MB does not alter TPU original features (shore, bending module, traction, etc.) and it is good for white and even slightly translucent formulations unlike similar products which only allow dark grey or black color. Besides, it is an extremely effective product that generates these properties at a very low concentration of added product (1.5-8%) generating, stable in the time, antistatic prperties. These features make avan STATIC-TPU MB a very interesting product to be applied in any type of TPU.
