CASIFLUX® G is produced from carefully selected wollastonite, a naturally occurring calcium silicate mineral. The standardised quality of CASIFLUX® G is guaranteed by means of an ISO 9001 certified quality management plan. The chemical composition of raw material and product is closely monitored and particle size kept within a narrow variation.

The fine-grained CASIFLUX® G wollastonites are specially developed for applications demanding increased abrasive and heat resistance. The alkaline nature of wollastonite make it an ideal auxiliary filler in industrial coatings and primers for improved corrosion resistance by anodic and alkaline oxidative passivation. Wollastonite acts also as a pH buffer for improved in-can paint stability over long periods of time and prevents in-can and nail- head corrosion.
