PREWHITE™ PP 22-50
PREWHITE PP 22-50 is a polypropylene based white masterbatch developed for polypropylene extrusion coating applications. Due to the overall balance in the formulation, fast line speeds up to 300 m/min and low coating weights down to 10 g/m² can be achieved.
According to FDA and BgVV regulations PREWHITE PP 22-50 is approved for use in contact with foodstuffs without limitations.
Filling the screw to maximum and using maximum safe torque and melt pressure is recommended for optimal cleaning results.
Processing temperature 100 –200 °C. Overheating may cause thermal degradation of the compound and the formation of fumes.
The maximum used dosage 30 is % and pre-drying e.g., 3 hours at 90°C is recommended when dosed over 25 %.
