Multranol® 8236
Multranol 8236 is a polyol used in the production of rigid polyurethane foams. It is used primarily in the appliance industry when combined with Mondur® 1515, a modified polymeric isocyanate. Foam formulations show excellent performance with respect to processability, demold properties, dimensional stability, and energy usage in refrigerators or freezers. As with any product, use of Multranol 8236 in a given application must be tested (including but not limited to field testing) in advance by the user to determine suitability.
