Proaid® 90
Proaid 90 is an organo-modified siloxane process aid and internal release agent. It is surface active and will attract to polar surfaces to lubricate and couple during melt processing. This includes filler, pigments and metal surfaces. Typical melting point is 160°F; therefore no migration is expected below that temperature. Because Proaid 90 is a siloxane, the common downstream processing issues that are seen with silicones are not normally experienced with Proaid 90.
