Zinc Borate 2335 ZB40S
Applications:
- ZB40S grade is surface treated by non-polar polymer of Stearic acid, the compatibility and combination with plastic material will be improved so that it is easy to evenly distribute into material, then the performance of fire retardant and mechanical properties is better than normal grade Zinc Borate.
- Because of Stearic acid in the surface, ZB40S is insoluable in water, but can dispersed evenly in organic solvent, so it can be used in intumescent coating and painting.
