Saftec® ST-102S
SAFTEC® ST-102S is a surfactant that is a polyethylene pellet concentrate based on a mixture of primarily secondary sodium alkyl sulfates. It is an excellent antistatic agent due to its hydroscopic properties. Saftec® ST-102S is preferably used as an internal antistatic agent for polar plastic. Eliminating the electric charges to maintain good product appearance is necessary for marketing food and cosmetic packaging. It is also imperative to protect electronic packaging and to decrease fire hazards in production environments.
