Phenolic Antioxidant
  • Sterically-less-hindered phenolic antioxidant which provides excellent heat stabilization to polymers by rapidly scavenging radicals which cause thermal oxidative degradation.
  • Shows low volatility, excellent retention within the polymer and excellent resistance to extraction from the polymer particularly in hot water.
  • Recommended for polymers which contains unsaturated bonds and easily generate polymer radicals.
  • Shows a synergistic effect on process stability when used with phosphites, and a synergistic effect on long-term heat stability when used with thioethers.
  • Approved as an indirect additive in food contact substances in US, EU and Japan.
