DS8800-11P is designed to reinforce high-temperature thermoplastics, such as PES, PSU, PPSU, PPS, PEI, PEEK, etc. The product has been developed in order to help reinforced plastics to meet the requirements of the most common food contact and drinkable water norms (EC 10/2011, FDA, BfR, and ACS). Thanks to its specific sizing, the product exhibits excellent mechanical properties, especially stiffness and high heat stability. Performance in hydrolysis/glycolysis resistance is also very good. DS8800-11P offers also an excellent dispersion in a large range of resin viscosities, even at high glass fibre loading (>55%). A specific manufacturing technology provides DS8800-11P chopped strand with a very good strand integrity and bulk density. As a result this product exhibits excellent feeding properties with very low fuzz generation.

3B E-CR glass is boron-free and presents significantly improved corrosion resistance across a wide range of aggressive environments. 3B glass is E-CR according to ASTM D578 and ISO 2078.
