CMMP MICA-SOFT®
MICA-SOFT® is a natural and white muscovite mica (alumino-silicate). This performant mineral have an excellent platelet structure, exceptional electrical properties and resist practically to all chemical materials.
MICA-SOFT® is a wet ground muscovite mica available in different grain sizes (from 40 mm to 10 mm). Its wet grinding process preserves the natural luster and sheen and permits to reach a higher lamellarity. This mica is particularly recommended for plastics reinforcement and acts also as a releasing agent in many type of moulds.

- Insoluble in water
- Only attacked by hydrofluoric acid
- Good arc resistance
- Transparent to microwaves
