Kadox® 930C
KADOX®-930 is a French Process zinc oxide as defined by ASTM D-4295. It is a low surface area, high purity oxide.
KADOX®-930 is available in the following forms:
USES
RUBBER - All 930 forms are used in white and tinted rubber goods, insulated wire, and packing and latex where high brightness and good color are desired.
OTHER USES - 930 forms are used extensively as a chemical and as a pigment in a variety of applications such as ceramics, rayon, zinc resinates, zinc chromates, floor coverings, and phosphate solutions for treatment of metal surfaces prior to painting.
KADOX®-930 is available in the following forms:
- 930 Powdered
- 930C Propionic Acid Coated allowing it to be more readily wet by rubber, thus hastening incorporation and aiding in dispersion
- 930H Pelleted providing low bulk, low dusting, and greatly improved flow properties
- 930CO Propionic Acid Coated with Processing Oil added reducing the tendency of the oxide to dust during handling and allowing it to be more readily wet by rubber, thus hastening incorporation and aiding in dispersion.
- 930CH Propionic Acid Coated and Pelleted providing low bulk, low dusting, greatly improved flow properties, and allowing it to be more readily wet by rubber, thus hastening incorporation and aiding in dispersion
