KADOX®-911 is a French Process zinc oxide as defined by ASTM D-4295. It is a very fine particle size, high purity oxide. KADOX®-911 was especially developed to provide a zinc oxide of highest surface area and reactivity, along with minimum setting and opacity. It is available in the following forms:

• 911 Powdered

• 911C Propionic Acid Coated allowing it to be more readily wet by rubber, thus hastening incorporation and aiding in dispersion

• 911H/911P Pelleted providing low bulk, low dusting, and greatly improved flow properties

• 911CH/911CP Propionic Acid Coated and Pelleted providing low bulk, low dusting, greatly improved flow properties, and allowing it to be more readily wet by rubber, thus hastening incorporation and aiding in dispersion.

USES

RUBBER - All 911 forms are designed to provide the highest activating power and reinforcement in rubber. Because of its high surface area, it gives an accelerating effect. In insulated wire, it provides high reinforcement together with good electrical properties - low moisture absorption and low dielectric constant. In transparent rubber, it furnishes maximum activation with minimum opacity. In aqueous dispersions for latex, it provides excellent dispersion, minimum settling, and maximum activation.

OILS - 911 is used in lubricating oils and greases both as a pigment and as a chemical to improve lubrication and to inhibit corrosion.
