PV-550 is a Butyltin Mercaptide PVC heat stabilizer.
Applications
PV-550 exhibit excellent heat stability in PVC applications, such as siding, window profiles and other rigid, transparent, soft sheets for extrusion, injection and calendaring. PV-550 provides excellent initial and long term color hold, outstanding dynamic term stability and superior outdoor weathering properties. It can be used under a wide range of processing conditions. This stabilizer is recommended to use on outdoor applications.
