agent in styrenic resin support, free from fillers, waxes or any other lubricants.
Application:
It is well-known that plastic materials are subjected to continuous attacks by microorganisms; the presence of bacteria or fungi could be due to bad hygienic conditions and concerning some plastic materials this presence is due to plasticizers used for relevant production.
Growth and propagation of microorganisms lead to some inconveniences, such as bad smells, decolorations or stains.
By nature, plastics do not have any protection system and therefore they are not able to prevent themselves from this contamination: the addition of VIBATAN PS BACTERIOSTATIC 02864 works in order to prevent and stop the growth and the propagation of microorganisms in polystyrene articles, prod uced by extrusion or injection moulding.
