Performance and Purpose:
CGY-5 is a kind of polysiloxane polyether copolymer with silicone-carbon structure. Therefore, it is anti-hydrolysis and stable in chemical property. It applies to rigid and semi-rigid polyurethane foamed plastics. It is suitable for system of high material liquidity requirements such as the refrigerator, ice tank, panel, and the system of pipe insulation.
In the system of 1-bromopentane as foaming agent, 1-bromopentane and PPG have good compatibility, thus it request foam stabilizer with strong nuclear capability, which to generate an extremely fine bubble pore structure, significantly reduce coefficient of thermal conductivity. It can make the reaction system in foam process with excellent liquidity, make the density distribution of plastic foam with extremely uniform, at the same time it has excellent foam stability effect, can make skin appear empty phenomenon (shear line phenomenon) to minimize, it is ideal foam stabilizer especially for fluorine-free polyether group.
