IncroMold™ K
Applications
Incromold™ K is an internal release additive used to improve cycle time, productivity and surface finish in a variety of polymers. Incromold™ K is sutiable for use up to temperature of around 280 - 300 °C.
Mode of Action
Incromold™ K can be dispersed evenly through the polymer in the melt phase or dosed via a masterbatch. It migrates to the surface of the polymer where it forms a thin lubricating layer. This layer reduces coefficient of friction between surfaces and reduces unwanted adhesion.

Guidelines for Use
Incromold™ K is an internal additive and can be incorporated inro resin as suppliedor via masterbatch / pre-blend. Experience has shown that simple manual mixing prior to processing will normally give an acceptable dispersion though, mechanical means are preferred.
Initial addition levels of 0.5 % are recommended.
