FG-7500, one of our originally developed carbonate oligomer of tetrabromobisphenol-A, is an addition type flame retardant characterized as below.

FG-7500 is effective for PBT and styrene resins including polystyrene and ABS.
Feature
- FG-7500 is one of bromine-containing flame retardants excellent in heat resistance.
- FG-7500 is a non-blooming type flame retardant.
- FG-7500 is particularly effective for use with polyester, polycarbonate and heat-resistant styrene resins, and other resins molded at high temperatures.
- FG-7500 is improved in dispersibility through lowering the fusing point below that of FG-7000 to some degree (10 - 20°C).
- FG-7500 shows flame retarding effect to a certain degree when used alone, but shows higher effect when combined with an auxiliary compound such as antimony trioxide.
