ST-PA9 is used in polyamide as multifunctional lubricant and dispersing agent. The primary use is melt flow increase, but it also generates other useful performance gains:
This comprehensive performance is significantly improved upon CBT, EBS, silicone, Montan wax and traditional lubricants.
It is widely used for polyamides, unfilled or reinforced (e.g. glass fiber/filler/fire retardant).
