EcoFlame D-238 was a new eco-friendly synergistic agent of flame retardant , It was applicable to Polystyrene, Polypropylene,and Polyethylene. EcoFlame D-238 could replace the traditional synergistic agent- Antimony Trioxide which contains heavy metal.

It was widely used in ABS/SAN, Engineering Plastics, GPPA, HIPS, Polystyrene (All Purpose), Polystyrene (Expandable), PS, PS (High Impact), Syrenic (co)Polymers.

Especially, EcoFlame D-238 could be used in EPS with adding level 0.5-1%, that could decrease the dosage of brominate flame retardant additive evidently, such as HBCD. In HIPS direction, the adding leve of Dicumene was only 30% of antimony trioxide.

FR-238 was also used in PP and PE masterbatches, act as plastic initiator, grafting agent.
