Akrochem HR 625 (glycerol ester of gum rosin) is an 85°C softening point, low molecular weight rosin gum produced from natural, renewable resources. This rosin's distinctive feature is that it contains acid functionality (-COOH), making it compatible in a wide range of elastomers. This rosin is appropriate for use in rubber products, sealants, coatings, adhesives and printing inks. Gum Rosin is utilized in rubber products as a low-cost tackifier and softener in hoses, belts, footwear, flooring and molded goods, etc. This rosin aids in processing of a wide range of elastomers compounds by increasing green tack, rate of incorporation of fillers, stock flow and improves knitting.
