3B Direct Rovings consist of continuous filaments bonded into a single strand and wound onto a bobbin shape. A proprietary sizing applied on the fibres assures an excellent resin-to-glass bonding. SE 1200 Direct Rovings are specifically designed for knitting process. The sizing of SE 1200 Direct Rovings is designed for excellent adhesion with thermoset resins. SE1200 Direct Rovings are in use in the manufacturing of windmill blades thanks to their high fatigue performances with polyester resins. Also, high corrosion resistance and high transmission of UV light make SE 1200 Direct Rovings the materials of choice for rehabilitation of sewer pipes by Cure In Place technologies. Advantex® glass is an E-CR glass in accordance with ASTM D578 and ISO 2078.
