MAGNIFIN H-10 IV is a high-purity magnesium hydroxide with a high bulk density, surface treated with a special amino polysiloxane. Based on a mineral raw material, the patented process guarantees a regular structure of the cristallite.

MAGNIFIN H-10 IV is tailor-made for the application in engineering plastics, e.g. PA and EVA cable formulations. It represents a halogen free flame retardant with low smoke emission and high thermal stability up to 340°C. During the decomposition process no toxic or corrosive gases are generated. The surface treatment favours the compatibility of filler and polymer matrix and improves processing.
