II Properties and uses

Colourless transparent oily liquid, flash point 190°C, b.p. 350°C, melting point -40°C, viscosity 33 c.p.(25°C), refractive index 1.431(25°C).

Soluble in many organic solvents as ethanol, sightly soluble in water.

Extensively used as solvent plasiticer. Used for the acetate, can make it good light stability and long-lasting property. Used for the film, can enhance its long-lasting and durability. Also can used for the electric cable coating.

Stored at dry, shady, ventilated place. Prevented from collision and sunrays, rain-attack during handling and shipping.
