Application:
VIBATAN XPS PROCESS AID 03330 works as internal slipping agent and it is specific for the production of polystyrene gas foamed articles.

One of the problems of the substitution of the HCFC gas with CO2 and HFA is due to the low solubility of these gases in polystyrene: therefore, the necessity to increase the pressure in the dosing of the gas during the extrusion.

VIBATAN XPS PROCESS AID 03330 helps the slipping and, at the same time, the homogenisation of the melt. The result is a XPS sheet with a uniform density, a brilliant appearance of surface and a higher productivity.
