Properties:
Surface modified, has no iron content, is difficult to release electricity. For its high dispersibility in active materials with negative electrode, it can make the discharge with more crystal center, so can well prevent the lead surface area from shrinking, and effectively postponed the passivation of the plate.

Application:
Dosage: 0.5-1.0% of negative plates ceruse, it is the most frequently used inorganic expansion agent in types of negative electrode active material in lead-acid battery. Has a similar lattice parameters with sulfuric acid, can be used as the crystallization centers of lead sulfate during the discharges, while without lead sulfate nuclei, so no over-saturation would occur.
Can well separate the PbSO4 from the baso4, so the active lead would not be covered by the passivation layer of the PbSO4. It is chemically inert, so will not participate in the process of oxidation-reduction, and can be highly dispersed in active substance, separating the lead and lead sulfate mechanically."
