PLASBLAK® XP6486C black masterbatch is a fully formulated polyethylene masterbatch suitable for the production of geomembranes which exceeds the GM13 standard requirements. This masterbatch is made from a finely dispersed carbon black grade combined with a highly effective thermal and light stabilization package.PLASBLAK® XP6486C black masterbatch exceeds the oxidative induction time (OIT) and high-pressure oxidative induction time (HP-OIT) requirements specified by GM13 standard.

METHOD OF ADDITION
PLASBLAK® XP6486C black masterbatch is designed for ease of dilution and homogeneous mixing and is therefore suitable for direct addition using automatic dosing units or by pre-blending.

ADDITION RATE
The amount of masterbatch added depends on the performance requirements of the final application. Typical addition rates vary from 5% to 7.5% masterbatch in order to get 2% to 3% carbon black in the geomembrane as specified by the GM13 standard.
