Characteristics & Usages

SONGSORB® 3600 is a strong absorber of ultraviolet radiation in the 300~400? region and has a high degree of photostability - photochemical energy absorbed in the ultraviolet region is dissipated as thermal energy.

Excellent thermal properties.

Excellent choice for applications that require low volatility and high loadings.

Excellent choice of light stabilizer for high temperature polymers like polycarbonate.

High molecular weight - Helpful in preventing plate out on molds and die lip build up.

Can be used Acrylic resins, Polyalkylene terephthalates, Polycarbonates, modified Polyphenylene ether or sulfide compounds, Polyamides, Polyacetals, Polyolefins, styrenics, elastomers and high performance plastics.
