DBP (M)
DBP(m) is almost colourless, odourless or slight aromatic, ester odour oily liquid, free of foreign materials in soluble in water but miscible in organic solvents.
Application
It is an excellent low cost plasticizer for cellulose nitrate
It resembles DBP but has a lower specific gravity and lower freezing point.
DBP(m) is used effectively in protective coatings based on cellulose acetate, ethyl cellulose & vinyl polymers etc.
