EMCAflex® 480 N-2
The EMCAflex® line (CAS No. 8012-95-1) is made up of mineral oils specially developed for use as extensor oils in the production of rubbers. Its characteristics enable it to be formulated in transparent and colorless shoes, adhesives for diapers and sanitary towels.
The EMCAflex® line is formulated specifically to guarantee excellent incorporation into rubber, improving performance in its final applications. In addition, the EMCAflex® line provides greater stability in oxidation processes, preventing yellowing of the final product.
Applications
The EMCAflex® line are refined oils produced with raw materials obtained from fractions of petroleum distillates. The raw materials undergo a special treatment process that makes the mineral oil suitable for more severe applications, without losing efficiency. EMCAflex® oils are clear, have low olefin and nitrogen content and have water content of less than 80ppm. They are paraffinic or naphthenic in nature and cover a wide range of viscosity, according to different processes needed for the manufacture of rubber and adhesives.
