STEPANPOL PS-2502A is a modified aromatic polyester polyol designed for use in rigid foam applications. Compared to other aromatic polyester polyols, Stepanpol PS-2502A imparts improved flow and insulating characteristics, particularly in appliance and pour-in-place applications.
Applications include rigid polyisocyanurate boardstock and extender for polyurethane foams: including low-density pour and spray, high-density, and packaging. This product features a low hydroxyl number for economical isocyanate usage, good blowing agent stability, and high aromatic content.
