BIOFR MCA
BIOFR MCA is mainly used in PA6 and PA66.
BIOFR MCA is a halogen-free flame retardant for polyamide. It has established itself as the flame retardant to achieve UL 94 V-0 especially for PA6 and PA66. In addition it gives PA6 or PA66 good mechanical and electrical porperties. Being halogen free also results in significant advantages in terms of fire safety, i.e, lower smoke density, lower smoke-toxicity and less corrosion.
