This thermostable product is very suitable as a processing aid for various thermoplastics.
FINALUX-G 748 is an effective lubricant for many polymer compounds in both extrusion and moulding processes. It is
recommended for use as amould release agent in Polycarbonate, thermoplastic polyesters (PET/PBT) and other engineering thermoplastics.
FINALUX-G 748 improves flow and mould release properties in Polyester bulk moulding compounds.
FINALUX-G 748 is a preferred product for such applications because of it's outstanding thermal stability which allows it's use in these systems without fear of degradation at high processing temperatures.
FINALUX-G 748 when impregnated into expandable Polystyrene beads, reduces significantly the cooling time of moulded parts. Used as an external lubricant in Rigid PVC compounds as well as many other polymer systems. FINALUX-G 748 is a highly efficient lubricant allowing it's use at lower concentrations than most conventional lubricants. FINALUX-G 748 is recommended wherever a combination of outstanding thermal stability and external release properties are required. In the injection moulding of Polyamide, Polycarbonate, Thermoplastics Polyurethane
and ABS, FINALUX-G 748 promotes improvement in mould release and improves the flow properties of the polymer melt.
