Anti-crater, substrate wetting and leveling agent for solvent-based coatings.

Product Properties:

AFCONA-3777E is the better compatibility version of AFCONA 3777. Recommended asnon-silicone leveling agent where silicone is not permitted due to intercoat adhesion problems.However, we highly recommend a combination with a suitable polysiloxane for better overall performance.

Note: AFCONA-3777E is one of the first developments of fluorocarbon modified acrylics and therefore later developments of AFCONA show improved performances.

Due to the fluorocarbon modification, it gives lower surface tension than normal pure polyacrylic leveling agents and therefore it gives better anti-crater performance and substrate wetting.

AFCONA-3777E is suitable for all solvent based coatings especially for:

baking paints (as leveling and anti-crater agent)

PU coatings (as leveling, anti-crater and anti inner bubble agent)

epoxies (as leveling and anti-crater agent)
