Anionic wetting and dispersing agent for inorganic pigments and fillers.

Product Properties:

AFCONA-6230 is a wetting and dispersing agent for inorganic pigments and fillers in solvent-based, solvent-free and water-based systems. It also helps to improve the color acceptance.

AFCONA - 6230 has below special properties and recommended in below systems:

Increases pigment loadings in the mill bases or in pigment concentrates. This enables to achieve VOC levels below 250 g/l in high filled solvent-based systems.

AFCONA - 6230 can be used in all solventbased and solvent-free industrial and decorative coatings. It is especially suitable for wetting, dispersing and stabilizing inorganic pigments and fillers in solvent free epoxies and polyurethanes, like flooring or pipe-line coatings.

AFCONA - 6230 also can be used to decrease the viscosity of water based resin free pigment concentrates, based on high molecular weight dispersing agent AFCONA - 4560.

AFCONA - 6230 performs in dispersing and stabilizing inorganic pigments and fillers in water-based decorative paints based on acrylic emulsions, giving better rheology and improved gloss.

Due to the polyether structure, it also can be used as colour acceptance additive.

Note: AFCONA - 6230 will become hazy or even crystallize at temperatures below 15° C and below. Re-heat the material before use if crystallization happens. This will not influence the quality of AFCONA - 6230.
