GUARD DOG™ UV234 UV absorber is low volatile benzotriazole based UV absorber which is highly effective in polymers that are processed at high temperature (decomposition temperature > 350 °C).

Applications: Extremely effective in PP, SBS, footwear, SEBS, acetal, acrylic, PET, PMMA, PBT, PC and is recommended for thin section and fiber applications suitable for food contact applications.

Recommended dosage: General recommended loading concentrations range between 0.15 - 0.60% depending upon the substrate and performance requirements.

Performance Benefits:

Strong absorption of UV radiation in the 300 - 400 nm regions. The absorption maxima are 302 nm and 343 nm.

Low initial color and low volatility during high processing temperatures and have good extraction resistance.
